Аннотация:Continuous thermal core logging on full-size core samples from wells drilled in the Bazhen formation rock samples let us get experimental data for analyzing the ratio between thermal conductivity and gamma ray logging, and gamma spectrometry data. Close correlations between thermal conductivity and the data inferred from gamma ray logging and gamma spectrometry on cores were established. Regression equations established for wells drilled within the oil field are very close that opens a new opportunity to use these for interpretation of thermal core and gamma ray logging data. As the result, thermal core logging data can be applied to predict variations of natural radioactivity and uranium concentration in intervals of the Bazhen formation with high-resolution capacity. Detailed distribution of gamma ray logging and gamma spectrometry data determined by thermal core logging data can be used for express method of core correlation with depth.
