Аннотация:Comparative studies of the iron–75fullerite and iron–75graphite composites obtained by the mechanosynthesis method have been performed by X-ray diffraction and Mössbauer spectroscopy. It has been shown that a carbon polymorph and its deformation stability predetermine the kinetics of formation for the phase composition of composites. In the case of disordering in the crystal structure of fullerite with the further destruction of fullerene molecules, iron–75fullerite powders are characterized by the same phase composition as for the iron–75graphite composite: amorphous carbon, Fe3C, Fe7C3, and the P-phase.
