Аннотация:A series of experimental data obtained at the Calspan–University at Buffalo Research Center(CUBRC) and accompanying numerical calculations performed by members of the computer codetesting working group were used to validate the author’s PERAT-2D computer code. The problems ofa hypersonic flow of molecular nitrogen around a sharp and blunt cone with a kink in the generatrix,as well as around a hollow cylinder with a sharp edge and an expanding skirt, are considered.
