Аннотация:The Bi2TeO5 polar phase (sp.gr.Abm2) is found to be changed to centrosymmetric orthorombic one in the result of a first-order phase transition. This fully reversible transition is spread over the interval of 780-820 degrees C. Very strong dielectric relaxation at preceding temperatures is related with oxygen vacancies redistribution in the crystal lattice. Upper temperature phase is distinctive by its pronounced electric conductivity supposedly anionic in nature.
