Аннотация:The paper follows the plural discourse articulated by the representatives of the Occitan folk movement under the aspect of the constructivist paradigm, from the point of view of the use and dissemination of ideas, symbols and mythologems that conform it and refer to popular traditions, literature, history and claims of local inhabitants. Lyrics are analyzed as a primary source to understand how the alternative discourse to the centralist
national one is articulated in the two neighbouring areas.
