Аннотация:Within this work, we will discuss Existenz and the significance of this mode of being for the moral existence of a person. The relevance of this work lies in analyzing existentialism, the philosophy of Karl Jaspers, and the problem of Existenz that was a key part of his philosophy, through the prism of ethical values. We look at true self-hood as a special mode of being that receives an ethical interpretation and is positioned as superior to other, non-authentic modes of being. Jaspers reflects on the moral and spiritual issues of human life and looks for something that a person can rely on in search of his being. The answers he formulates in his writings continue to be relevant and require an ethical interpretation which this work offers. We assert Existenz as a preferable mode of being, discover its moral meaning, and summarize non-authentic modes of being that oppose Existenz.
