Аннотация:The results of computational and theoretical studies of diode-pumped alkali laser parameters are presented. Calculation of the absorption spectral line profile for potassium at different parameters of the active medium was performed. At a buffer gas pressure of 4He above 0.1 atm., the greatest contribution to the value of the line width is made by the collision broadening mechanism. The potassium absorption profile is approximated with high confidence by the Lorentz function with an error in the far wing area of the line.
