Verified by P. David and G. Vogel. Herpetological Collection, Duy Tan University (DTU 551; photo voucher). Individual found at 1400 h on the ground, along steep slope; surrounding habitat littoral forests. First records for Myanmar; previously considered endemic to Andaman Islands and Car Nicobar, India (Vogel et al. 2023, Zootaxa 5357:515–554). Locality on Coco Island represents northernmost distribution limit, ca. 140 airline km NE of nearest known population on Saddle Peak, North Andaman Island, India (Chandramouli 2022. Zootaxa 5209:301–331).
