Аннотация:In the present paper, the propagation of longitudinal and transverse waves in viscoelastic rods is investigated utilizing the fractional derivative rheological models, resulting in the time-dependent Young’s modulus operator and time-independent bulk modulus. A relationship between the velocity of harmonic waves and frequency has been found. It has been established that among the models considered the most adequate to the experiment is the standard linear solid model, which possesses the most physically meaningful limiting values of wave propagation velocity.
