Аннотация:The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of job position and work content on the manifestation of occupational stress among managers. A Managerial Stress Survey (Leonova, 2001) method was used to collect data from 131 (46 top and 85 middle management level) managers. The results show that the development of stress syndromes depends on the level and content of job position in managerial’ work. Gender and age indirectly influence the level of occupational stress. Dynamics in stress syndromes demonstrates the cumulative character in the enhancement of negative stress effects when individuals’ stress level increases
