Аннотация:Composite gels based on poly(acrylamide) and sodium bentonite were synthesized. It was shown that the polyelectrolyte properties exhibited by the gels are due to the incorporation of negatively charged clay particles. In the presence of urea and furacillin, the composites swell strongly, which is due to their filling with clay. Modification of the composites with cationic surfactants can lead to changing the sign of the charge on the surface of bentonite particles. Surfactant-modified composites are efficient absorbents of hydrocarbons. The properties of the composites depend substantially on their preparation conditions and crosslinking density.
