Аннотация:Copolymerization at a surface with the hexagonal packing of adsorption sites that selectively adsorb one of the comonomers and monomeric units formed on its basis was simulated by the Monte Carlo method. The effect of the polymerization rate, adsorption energy, comonomer concentration ratio, and adsorption-site lattice spacing on the conformation and primary sequences of copolymers was studied. It was shown that random polymerization competes with the conformation-dependent design of the sequences. The conditions for the prevalence of the latter polymerization mode were determined. It was found that regular copolymers are formed under these conditions, whose chain repeating distance is proportional to the lattice spacing of adsorption sites.
