Аннотация:In this chapter, we discuss the progress made in functional polymer FET devices. The mechanism of electrical conductivity in polymer materials is explored in detail. The π-orbitals are crucial in forming the semiconductor properties of polymers, introducing conductivity to the material. However, the conductivity of these polymers is constrained by intermolecular (interchain) charge transfer, which involves overcoming spatial and energy barriers. Therefore, understanding how the supramolecular structure and morphology of polymer solid films affect charge transport characteristics remains a significant challenge. Additionally, the stability of materials and devices continues to be an obstacle for commercial applications. On the positive side, organic integrated circuits are technologically important due to their low noise and low power consumption, which are beneficial for modern society. This chapter covers the basic concepts of the conductivity properties of polymer materials used in fabricating FET devices a
